About Stacey

  • The Teacher

    For over 10 years I taught Grade 3, Grade 5, and ESL in the TDSB, fostering classrooms rooted in academic excellence and mutual respect. I’m a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and gave back through the Volunteer Readers Programme, teaching remedial reading to grade 1 students.

  • The Representative

    Elected TDSB Trustee in 2025 for the former Ward of Don Valley West, I am now running in the newly configured Ward of York South-Weston & Eglinton-Lawrence, where I have lived for 17 years. Before teaching, I was the constituency assistant to the Honourable John Godfrey, MP.

  • The Communicator

    At Echo Advertising I represented arts and culture clients including the Toronto International Film Festival, and I went on to launch a consulting practice in children’s media programming. Clear, honest communication with families is central to how I work.

Stacey is committed to delivering strong public education for every child, working in collaboration with parents, educators, the Ministry of Education, and the City of Toronto.

Ensure families are heard in decisions affecting their children and their schools. Students succeed when families have a voice in education. I will continue to listen to parents, respond to their concerns, and champion educators’ needs.

Can You Vote in This Race?

Every Ontario voter votes in exactly one school board race, and which one appears on your ballot depends on your school support designation.

English public is the default, and English public supporters vote for TDSB trustee. That is this race. If you are registered as a Catholic or French-language school supporter, you cannot vote in this one, but that can be changed any time before October 26.

Thirty seconds on the City’s MyVote page tells you your designation, and your voting location with it.

As things stand, your ballot shows the Catholic board’s trustee race, not this one. School support is held by MPAC, and you can switch to English public any time before voting day — but not at the polling place, so it has to be done in advance.

Change your school support at MPAC. A change made after June 1 may not reach the preliminary voters’ list, so keep MPAC’s confirmation and contact Elections Toronto so it’s reflected.
